KU Leuven hosted the 19th European Dependable Computing Conference from April 8th to 11th, 2024, in Leuven, Belgium. The event included workshops on the first day and continued with engaging keynotes and presentations until Thursday. The social programs also enhanced the experience for attendees.

  • Overview

    The European Dependable Computing Conference is a leading venue for presenting and discussing the latest research, industrial practice and innovations in dependable and secure computing, with a long tradition started in 1994 and reaching the 19th edition.

    EDCC 2024 will take place in Leuven from 8th until 11th April 2024.

    Located close to Brussels in Belgium, the heart of Europe, Leuven is home to the University of Leuven (KU Leuven), which has been founded in 1425. This six centuries of history have been home to great minds from Thomas More (Utopia) to Erasmus, and from cartographer Mercator to anatomist Vesalius.

    We will host you in the urban park of the Arenberg Castle, were the faculty of Engineering Science and the Electrical Engineering Department are located, at walking distance from the city centre. Electa, the organising research, group focuses on smart energy applications – for which cybersecurity and data privacy are key requirements, and has a long tradition of working on dependable, distributed control.
